Heart’s Year in Review
We’re quickly approaching the end of 2015, and man, what a year it has been! Here at Heart, it has been nothing short of a whirlwind year, and we’re happy to have had you by our side every step of the way.
This spring, Heart Technologies hosted our sixth annual Great HEART Give. 2015 was definitely a “guinea pig” year as we tried new things to get nonprofits involved and change up the voting process for the community. We had a surprising response, and in our jam-packed day of voting, we named LifeLine Pilots the winner of The Great HEART Give 2015!
Throughout the spring, Heart also participated in several trade shows in central Illinois. We made stops at Decatur and Springfield in April to socialize and spread our messaging and services with people in our area. We enjoyed meeting each and every one of you and have found great value in the relationships created from these events.
In early September, Heart hosted our eighteenth annual Customer Appreciation Event at 360 Rooftop Bar in St. Louis, MO. We were able to bus down some of our customers to the rooftop venue for a Cubs vs. Cards baseball game. The weather was perfect, the food was excellent, and the company could not be beat! With both teams performing so well this season, it was a great year to introduce some friendly rivalry into our event and proved to be a fun day for all.
October brought the East Peoria Oktoberfest event, in which Heart participated in the “X Marks the Spot” theme. Decorating our booth in the spirit of Peter Pan, we enjoyed a full day of pixie dust and pirates while promoting our business to event visitors. We may not have won the grand prize, but our impromptu “Gold Star” award still sits proudly on the second floor of our East Peoria headquarters.
November and December have been filled with giving back to our community. From food drives to present purchases to goodie bakes, we’ve been working to better the communities we live in. In addition, we’ve been continually prepping and planning for the new year. What’s in store? You’ll have to stay tuned for more…
