Heart Takes on Springfield!
On Thursday, Heart Technologies attended the Springfield Business Connections at Prairie Capital Convention Center. We were able to share our services, solutions, and causes with those who came to this well-attended event hosted by the Springfield Chamber of Commerce.
What made this expo so unique was that there was so much for Chamber members and attendees to do. The morning began with speed networking. Heart’s Sheila Feipel, an account manager based out of Springfield, met with a multitude of local business owners and decision makers through this fun, fast-paced activity.
Sheila then joined the rest of the Heart crew for the State of the City Luncheon. We received a status report from Springfield Mayor Jim Langfelder, including the local leaders’ and administration’s views on the state of the city. This also included a reflection upon achievements from the past year, challenges we have faced and see ahead, as well as an outline of priorities in the coming year.
As the clock struck 1:00pm, Business Connections began. We came together with 84 other Springfield-local businesses to inform the community of our presence, services, and solutions. This event was also used as an opportunity to bring the community together to benefit itself through Great HEART Give voting. Business Connections served as our second location for in-person voting, which counts for double the votes for our nonprofit finalists! We would like to thank all that visited us at the Heart booth this year! We are so thankful to be active in the Springfield community. With so much potential for business growth and development amongst Heart and other local businesses, we are looking forward to continuing to build and maintain our relationships and create meaningful business partnerships amongst those we serve.
