Heart Technologies, Inc. was honored with the Central Illinois Better Business Bureau Torch Award in 2006. The Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau serving Central Illinois has established the BBB Torch Award to recognize a firm whose business practices and related activities exemplify the BBB's mission of promoting, through self-regulation, the highest standards of business ethics and conduct.

Candidates for the Better Business Bureau Torch Award are judged on their ethical practices according to the following guidelines:

• High ethical standards of behavior toward customers, suppliers, users, shareholders, employees, and the communities in which they do business 
• Long-standing history/reputation of ethical practices in the marketplace 
• Ethics policies that are effectively communicated to employees 
• Ethics policies that are designed to give long-term value to shareholders and customers

2008 EPCC Distinguished Company of the Year

Heart Technologies, Inc. was honored with the Distinguished Business of the Year award from the East Peoria, Illinois Chamber of Commerce at the Chamber's 2008 annual awards banquet held in January of 2009.

Lance Lelm accepted the award which recognized Heart's ongoing efforts to provide the business technology support needed to assist prospective and existing business owners as they try to locate or expand their businesses into East Peoria and Central Illlinois.  The award also highlighted Heart's ongoing support of Chamber activities and events, community involvement and progressive business activity.
